What is Brazilian Zouk?

Brazilian Zouk is a modern partner dance that originated in Brazil in the 1990s. It evolved from Lambada, a popular dance in the 1980s, after Lambada music faded, and dancers started incorporating Zouk music (a genre from the French Caribbean). Over time, Brazilian Zouk developed its own identity, musicality, and fluid movements.
